ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Brief history of JC Tech Engineering and its founder.
Joby could assert of some hardcore experience in Civil structural and Steel reinforcement arena spanning almost 3 decades. After some academic training in industrial training, he enthusiastically stepped into the field taking sub-contracts of Structural steel fabrication and Support Columns. 1993-94: The icebreaker project of JC Tech Engineering! Joby was fortunate to be associated with the construction of the reputed Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in the city of Cochin. He was sub-contracted for its structural reinforcement and fabrication works of this International Stadium.
Al-Amar Industries KSA
Joby was absorbed in as a technical partner by this civil construction company based out of Riyal Industrial City. This international exposure and the experience gained working with several foreign partners was indeed a cornerstone in Joby’s career as a Structural-Mechanical contractor.
Eurofab LLC UAE
Joby established another platform in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah. The primary activity of this venture was manufacturing movable residential and commercial portable cabins. Customized portacabins and site offices of various sizes were manufactured and installed for many reputed contractors and consultants in and around UAE.
Back to Cochin
Joby returned to his hometown and restarted his JC Tech Engineering! By virtue of his steadfast proficiency and know-how in the structural Mechanical field, he was quick in receiving contracts from giants like Llyoids Insulation, Chennai, the DMRC, the KMRL etc. The very first project undertaken after his return was the roofing assignment of the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium.
Container terminal Road
Joby was awarded with the Civil Structural-reinforcement assignment of the Container terminal Road, another prestigious project of Cochin. He was entrusted with the fabrication and erection of heavy-duty steel girders, fabrication of steel-shuttering, Fabrication of crash barriers, crash guards etc.
LNG Terminal Vypin
Here too the nature of the contract and the scope of work was similar to the above. The Polycarbonate roofing of the said terminal was also undertaken by JC Tech Engineering. Joby was awarded with the Civil Structural-reinforcement assignment of the Container terminal Road, another prestigious project of Cochin. The Delhi Railway Metro Corporation
We were the first piling contractor to be identified by this quality-concerned platform. The piling of Metrorail pillars and the huge steel reinforcement job including its barricade fabrication (over 3000 Metric Tons) was successfully undertaken by JC Tech Engineering. The construction of the BALANCED CANTILEVER BRIDGE was another challenging undertaking of JC Tech Engineering which was supervised by SP Singla Pvt Ltd. We are also a qualified technical support firm of Alstom Transport India Limited, an unmatched that caters with mobility solutions to high-speed trains, metros, monorail, trams to integrated systems and signaling solutions. We are still continuing our association with KMRL rendering our technical support for the Muttom-Kalammassery yard. The construction of Chambakara flyover and related piling jobs done in the lake were all, few undertakings that appeared to be defying. Mahindra Construction Company Ltd. Delhi has also hired us for the on-going Thycoodam Power Station construction. We are assigned with all fabrication-related tasks like Cable tray support and Earthing Support.
Marine Division Launched
Mr. KV. Rajan, a seasoned Marine Engineer, joins JC Tech Engineering and opens the Marine Division. Rajan brought in 43 years of experience in ship building and ship repair, having served the Cochin Shipyard Ltd., which was undeniably a golden feather on the cap of JC Tech Engineering. The strong chemistry of the reputation earned by JC Tech Engineering and the expertise and forte of Rajan will be a strong base for us to excel in this field too.
